Website Ownership
Website ownership depends on the selected service plan and written agreement between the client and MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC.
If a client chooses a subscription website plan, MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC retains ownership of the website unless a separate written buyout or ownership transfer agreement is completed.
If the client stops paying for a subscription website plan, MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC retains ownership and control of the website, design, hosting, files, and related website assets unless otherwise stated in writing.
Hosting and Domain Control
For certain website subscription plans, MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC may host the website and control the domain as part of the service arrangement.
Domain ownership, domain access, hosting access, website files, and transfer rights must be stated in the client’s written agreement.
SEO Subscription Plans
If a client receives a website subscription as part of an SEO plan, the client must remain enrolled in the SEO plan for the required minimum term stated in the written agreement before becoming eligible for any website subscription continuation terms.
If the client cancels SEO services but continues a website subscription, MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC retains ownership of the website unless a written agreement states otherwise.
Payments
Payment terms, pricing, billing dates, setup fees, monthly fees, and service terms will be listed in the client’s proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
Late or failed payments may result in paused services, delayed work, suspended website access, or termination of services.
Content and Materials
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have rights to all logos, images, videos, text, testimonials, claims, and materials provided to MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC.
MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC is not responsible for legal issues related to client-provided content, trademarks, copyrighted materials, false claims, or inaccurate business information.
Intellectual Property
Website content, designs, graphics, copy, strategy documents, templates, processes, and marketing materials created by MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC remain the property of MSJ Marketing Consultants, LLC unless ownership transfer is agreed to in writing.
